Ramadan Bazaar 2025 in Johor Bahru - Taman Suria | 13 minutes drive from CIQ

We continued to explore other Ramadan Bazaars in Johor Bahru during this #ramadhan period as it is only for limited period of time. Due to the heavy traffic congestion at the checkpoints, we decided to try visit Taman Suria Ramadan Bazaar as it is only about 13-minutes drive away from CIQ. Unfortunately, we still arrived a bit too late (around 7pm) as most of the stalls have already closed for the day or starting to pack up. Hence, it is advisable to come earlier (best before 5-6pm) so you get to feel the real vibes of the area. On the bright side, we managed to skip the queue and buy some food to try. Looking at the size of Ramadan Bazaar Taman Suria, I think there might be about 100 stalls selling assorted food delights & drinks. Located opposite of Giant & Eco-shop at Southern City, there are some parking lots around the area. Largest Night Market (Pasar Malam) in Johor Bahru - Taman Ungku Tun Aminah 皇后花园夜市

We always enjoyed visiting the night markets ( #pasarmalam ) in Johor Bahru. They are not just markets but reflecting the culture and scene of Malaysia. T.U.T.A night market ( #皇后花园夜市 ) is probably the largest in Johor Bahru and it does takes awhile to walk through. Apart from street vendors selling many delicious local delights, there are also stalls selling fresh products (eg. meat, seafood, vegetables, fruits), clothing, household essentials etc. Every Saturday, the roads are cordoned off from vehicles and hence parking can be challenging. How to get to R&F Mall from Johor Bahru CIQ by foot

R&F Mall had its first soft opening on 28 March 2019 but there is no rush to visit as many of the shop space remains empty and some are under renovations. It will probably take a couple of months more before we see some vibrancy and crowd coming in. HOW TO GET TO R&F MALL? We were on a day trip to Johor Bahru and thought of exploring the new mall since we had a couple of hours to spare. R&F Mall is very near to CIQ Checkpoint and if you are driving, it probably only take 2-3 minutes after clearing the JB custom.
