Kuala Lumpur's famous & Michelin-Bib Gourmand awarded restaurant - Hai Kai Lang (海脚人) opened its outlet in Johor Bahru some time ago and has attracted many to come by everyday.
We finally got a chance to drop by (skipping the crowd) on an early Sunday morning. Since it was our first visit, we ordered the signature Mixed Seafood Noodle. Initially, we wanted to order the Leopard Coral Belly Noodle, but it was not ready. Hence, we went ahead with Indian Threadfin Noodle. We picked kway teow and clear Soup and am delighted to see the bowl filled with seafood - Flower crab, clams (at least 9), fish, squid, prawns, and laver seaweed. Soup is flavourful and sweet, and portion is good to share. Hai Kah Lang also has special drinks on the menu and we tried coconut kopi! A unique flavour.Generally, the taste is good, but the price is on a higher end.
