Where to stay in Osaka?

It is our first trip to the land of the rising sun - Japan! We are super excited but at the same time .. LOST! From the train lines, to where to go and stay...

After much research and checking the google maps, we decided on our hotel stay in Osaka.

We spent 5 nights at Eslead Hotel Namba South II ( @esleadhoteljapan  ) during our recent trip to #osakajapan . Apart from the good reviews on Agoda, Google etc, we are also happy with its proximity to popular locations.

Imamiya Ebisu Shrine: about 4 minutes walk

Tsutenkaku/Shinsekai: about 5 minutes walk

MEGA Don Quijote Shinsekai store: about 8 minutes walk

Tennoji Zoo: about 9 minutes walk

Nipponbashisuji Shopping Street (Denden Town): about 15 minutes walk

Dotonbori: about 15 minutes by train + walk

We alighted at Kansai Airport and took the JR train down to Shin-Imamiya Station and walked about 10 minutes (with the luggage) to Eslead.

Other stations near Eslead Hotel includes

Ebisucho Station (Exit 4) - 2 minutes walk

Imamiyaebisu Station - 5 minutes walk

There is no staff at the lobby, but check-in was a breeze as we have registered prior to arrival and only need to enter the Check-in Code on the tablet provided at the entrance.

Room is very spacious, neat and clean with all amenities that we needed are provided.

While there is no room cleaning service, clean towels are provided every 3 days.

We spent about SGD131 per night and it is a very good deal.
