Using the canvas board from Daiso, I made strips of glue on it. It does not have to be perfect straight lines. Just go with the flow as you move your glue gun across the board. You can make the lines thicker by adding more glue. To create droplets effect, hold the glue gun longer at a spot before gliding it away.
This is how it looks like after you applied stripes of hot glue on the canvas. The glue dries very fast and we are ready to paint!
You can choose the colour of your choice for your artwork. I decided to start with a lighter shade - yellow.
The stripes of glue looks like raindrops and I could imagine myself standing by the window on a rainy day, looking out at the field. The colours probably did not blend in as well as I like it to be but I guess it is not too bad for a newbie.
Gladys thought it is a corn field while Denver felt that it resembles the yellow poppy field. What do you think?
I love the texture which stood out against the plain wall. It looks pretty at the sides as well. This art project is really easy to do and you can create nice artworks for your home or even send it as a unique gift for a special friend.

This is awesome dear. I am surely try this one with my kids. Last time I have tried with crayons melted wth a dryer and came out very well.
So nice!!! Just a quick question though - what is the paint that you use? We just bought the canvas from Daiso too and I am not sure if I should give the kids oil paint or poster colour!
I never thought of such a great way to create art using hot glue gun on canvas!
Beautiful art piece, love the "raindrops" effect on the grass landscape.

I used acrylic paints. I like acrylic on canvas... got more shading and texture effect.. Did not try oil or poster colour before though. not sure how it will turns out.
