Materials
1. Toilet roll
2. Cardboard (base)
3. Pen knife
4. Scissors
5. Coloured paper/drawing block paper
6. Colour pencils/markers
7. Glue/Tape
I prefer to use the wider toilet roll as it gives more 'room' to place the faces. Using the pen knife, cut 2 circles at the top half of the toilet roll. 1 at the front and 1 at the back. (Note: I cut 4 circles in my sample). If you are using a smaller toilet roll, just cut 1 circle. If you like to make it more colourful, find a coloured paper and wrap it around the toilet roll. Make sure you make the markings to cut the exact circular holes accordingly.
Take a cardboard and draw a bigger circle than the base of the toilet roll. Cut it out. This will serve as the base of the Emotion Doll.
Take a piece of drawing block or coloured paper and roll it within the toilet roll. Make sure you leave some allowance at the bottom of the paper to stick to the cardboard base later (folding line). Based on the circular holes on the toilet roll, use a pencil and lightly mark it on the paper within. You can design, draw and colour the faces showing different feelings (Happy, Sad, Excited, Silly, Angry etc).
Fold the paper along the folding line, cut along the dotted line, roll the paper and place it within the toilet roll. Stick the paper to the bottom of the toilet roll base. Try turning the base or the toilet roll to see the different emotions popping through the hole.
Decorate your Emotion Doll. I drew a girl and a boy on the same toilet roll so that it can be used for both gender. Turn the base and share with others your mood!
HAPPY
ANGRY
SAD
SCARED
How are you feeling today?

Wow...this is super cute and is really fun. I can imagine the kids turning and doing the same emotion as the doll.
Wow so innovative! I have an emotion chart but its only 2D. And after some time they cant be bothered to "update" anymore 😂😂😂
