Hualien is a beautiful and scenic area and it will be good to be able to spend about 2 nights there and do some sightseeing.

After much research, we decided to stay in 福康大饭店 (Fullkind Hotel) located within the hearts of Hualien City. With just minutes walk to places of interest like 东大门夜市 (Night Market) 北濱公園 (Beibin Park) 太平洋公園 (Pacific Park) 花蓮鐵道文化園區 (Hualien Railway Cultural Park) Also short drive away to 七星潭 (Qixingtan) 遠雄海洋公園 (Farglory Ocean Park) 美崙山 (Meilun Mountain) Price for hotel stay is attractive. we paid about SGD214 for Triple room - 2 nights stay (Late 2023 price with complimentary breakfast). Room is very spacious, neat and clean. Separate toilet and shower room with comfortable beds. After the 0304 Earthquake in Year 2024, Fullkind Hotel did an assessment on their building structure and it was accessed to be Earthquake Resistant.
