Taiwan Travel Guide - 10 Days 9 Night Itinerary Family Trip

There are always new experience and places to explore whenever we are in Taiwan

Here is our 10 Days 9 Nights Itinerary when we visited during one of the hotter months in September 2023. Though it has been awhile, it has been a beautiful memory for us to look back.

Air Tickets

Air tickets to Taiwan were booked via Scoot which costs about SGD1059 for 3 person (~SGD353 per pax). Pricing is more affordable due to the low peak season and flight timings are good as we picked midnight flight to Taiwan, late afternoon return flight to Singapore)

Getting Around

There are many modes of transport to take you to different parts of Taiwan. Depending on your itinerary plans, budget, time and special considerations if you have older folks/younger children travelling along. Here are some of the useful links to help you getting around in Taiwan.

For our 10 days trip, we engaged a driver to take us around for the first half of our trip and taking the metro when we are in Taipei.

Prepaid SIM Card
Upon touching down at Taoyuan International Airport, purchasing the prepaid cards to keep us connected is utmost important. There are several telecommunication service providers with sales counters at the airport and we decided to go for Chunghwa. Check out their website for pricing and data plans.
