Cafe in Johor Bahru - Dusk by Mok Mok (Taman Pelangi)

Dusk by Mok Mok is located in Taman Pelangi, Johor Bahru. Hubby and I were waiting for the Pasar Malam (Night Market) which operates on every Tuesday afternoon to open, and we stumbled upon the Cafe by chance. The hammock and decor at the shop front attracted our attention which led us to a pleasant find.

Stepping into the Bohemian-style decorated cafe, we were captivated by the ambiance and furnishing. Every corner feels welcoming and comfortable. A wonderful place to chill and relax - plus good spot for photo taking.

Wanting to save our tummies for the night market later, we ordered a dessert - Kumo Ultimo (RM25): Souffle Pancake with homemade crumble & granola, strawberry jam, mixed fruits, topped with mascarpone cheese mousse and cleverly decorated with a white chocolate mermaid tail.

Slowly remove the plastic cover and the mousse will flow down to the souffle.

The Souffles are fluffy, warm and savory - and we love it as it has a mix of sweet and salted taste. Together with the mixed fruits and granola, it gives the entire dessert a balance flavour. I particularly love the mermaid tail which turns out to be white chocolate that elevates the presentation of the dessert and sweetness to the dish.

There are also other interesting items on their menu but we have to give them a miss this time. Browsing through the menu, the price are pretty affordable as well. Will love to be back again with our children next time!
