Where to Stay in Kuala Lumpur - The Robertson

Pre-Covid Travel Post

Before the pandemic hits, we were lucky to be on a short trip to Malaysia and stayed in Kuala Lumpur. Finally decided to pen down our trip as for memory sake and maybe future travel reference as the doors to travelling is opening and made possible. 

We had a 1 night stay at The Robertson two years ago and it was in a really lovely apartment for our family. 

Location

Bukit Bintang, Chinatown (Petaling Street), Jalan Alor (Famous local food street) is only about 10 minutes walk away. 

Apartment

The condo unit is clean and neat. Tastefully designed, fully furnished and welcoming to its guest (especially after traveling through the night to make our way here). 

Stepping in opens to a bright and airy living and dining space with full height windows overlooking the swimming pool. Free high speed Wifi is available throughout the whole unit.

Beside the living room is a small bedroom with a bunk bed which is a comfortable resting space for our teenagers. 

The master bedroom is fitted with a Queen size bed and a single pull out bed. There are so many choices of bed that it can easily fit 5 - 6 person.

The toilet & shower room is spacious, bright and clean. It will be a bonus if there is a tub. :)

The beauty of staying in an apartment is the availability of kitchen and laundry area. You can do your laundry or heat up and have your meals within.

Facilities

What I like about The Robertson is its infinity swimming pool. Feels like we are staying in a hotel but at a more affordable price - we paid about SGD84 for our room. It is a pity we are only staying for 1 night though.

Children's pool, Sauna, Gym facilities is also available for guests but we were just contented to use the pool as we had a full itinerary ahead

Don't forget to check out the Jacuzzi and garden located at the rooftop. Here is where we can chill and relax day and night!

You get a really gorgeous view of KL City Skyline from here!

Our host is very prompt in her response and check-in is really convenient. Our access card is placed in the locker which we can pick up on arrival and return upon check-out. The whole process is seamless and safe.
