Actually this is probably our 3rd time here as our first two visits was ages ago. Kage Sushi has been in business for many years (since 2008) and offers over 100 dishes on their menu. The buffet comes with unlimited free flow of drinks, fruit, salad, dessert and soup at an affordable price tag.

The interior of the restaurant looks decent. I only find the space between tables are too close to each other, making it harder to move in and out.
Check out the extensive selection on the menu that you can indulge in. Below are only some that I took and there are more. From Sashimi, Sushi, Temaki to fried/grilled food, ramen and other cooked dishes.
You will notice there are some items on a white background. Those are only valid for dinner buffet. Nevertheless, the ala-carte menu selection is plenty and sufficient even if you are going for the lunch buffet. If you are not sure how many servings to order, just look at the picture which shows the portion of 1 standard serving.
Drinks bar at the front counter offering cold/hot beverages. There are soft drinks as well as hot/cold green tea. If you prefer something special, you can also order drinks available on the menu.

Free flow of miso soup and soup of the day is available and you can top on your desired amount of toufu and seaweed.

We reserved our tummies for the main items on the buffet menu. Our main highlight and MUST ORDER is Salmon Sashimi. This bowl contains 4 servings and we enjoyed slurping down the thick juicy slices of salmon. We loved it so much that we ordered another 6 more servings for our family to share..
7 different flavours of handrolls to choose from. We had our usual California, plus Sake Mayo and Sake Skin.

Grilled Salmon
Assorted Grilled food - We particularly like the Ton Enoki which is really delicious.
Chawamushi - average bowl of steam egg. Not the taste I will usually like.
Table filled with goodness. We skipped the heavier dishes like ramen, udon, and rice. This alone was enough to keep our tummies happy and filled till the rest of the day. In fact, we do not even feel hungry during dinner time.

When we were about to make payment and leave, Hubby noticed that there is a dessert counter outside the restaurant and it is also free for buffet customers! However, we were feeling too full and decided to grab ourselves 1 piece of mooncake instead in celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival.
Overall, we find the food at Kage Sushi decent (average). We like some of the items on the menu and most importantly Salmon Sashimi was fresh and sushi was delicious. It may not be very exquisite but I really appreciate the wide selection on the menu. For the price of RM58 (less than SGD20), it is definitely worth a visit.
