Taiwan 8D7N Free & Easy Tour - CartonKing (紙箱王) & Small Swiss Garden (小瑞士花园)

Continuing from our visit to Green Green Grassland, we decided to make our way down to Swiss Garden to stop for lunch and rest. Unfortunately, my legs were strained on Day 3 (probably accidentally over strained my legs on Day 1 at XiaoWuLai. Even the stairs up to Carton King seems impossible. Nevertheless, I made it.

Did some reading up and learnt that if we spend above NTD350 per person at Carton King, we will receive free admission ticket to Small Swiss Garden (Full ticket price is NT120). Sounds like a nice deal since we already decided wanting to experience dining at Carton King.

Stepping into Carton King, most of the furnishing and furniture are made of corrugated paper - even the cups and serving plates. Don't worry about the sturdiness of the chair as Hubby tested seating on it and it can withstand his weight very well.

Hot drinks are placed inside a square card box, easy for us to carry around. Once you finished the drink, simply flatten the box and you can bring it back for souvenir and turn it back into a saving box.

Our lunch - could not recalled what we ordered but the food was alright. What amazed me was the fork and spoon was kept in a beautiful box which you can also turn it into a light shade.

The restaurant is just part of Carton King. There is also a shop at CingJing where you can buy some interesting souvenir back. Our experience at the outlet in Taichung, which is bigger in area has been wonderful as well.

After our lunch, we strolled around Small Swiss Garden (小瑞士花园) which is just next to Carton King. My legs felt more alive after sitting for awhile but still strained.

Nice spot to take some pictures

You can also buy some feed to feed the ducks.

We did not get to explore deeper into the garden as the children were feeling restless and they prefer to return back to Green Green Grassland to feed the sheep. :)

We might have missed more scenic spots at Small Swiss Garden but it seems a nice place to explore if time was on our side.

As my legs were hurting again, Hubby figured I probably won't be able to make it back up to Green Green Grassland by walking.... Thankfully, our Minsu heard our pleas and they gladly drove us back to the grassland. ^_^
