So whats there to look out for at Christmas Wonderland 2016? The festive ground has expanded from last year's 35,000sqm to 57,000sqm! Apart from the popular Italian Luminarie, Ice Palace, and European-style Festive Market, visitors can look forward to refreshed designs and new experiences in a Magical Forest, Hi-5 Funtastic House, more carnival attractions and wider array of festive dining treats.

Entry is complimentary for up to 3 children under 0.9m for each paying adult. Separate tokens must be purchased onsite for the carnival rides and game stalls.
The main attraction at Christmas Wonderland has to be the 19.8-metre tall and 24-metre wide Spalliera Castel del Monte - the tallest ever Luminarie sculpture in South-east Asia. Blizzard Time is set to start at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm daily during the festive period for 5 minutes. Be sure to experience the snowy fray and immerse yourself beneath the fluffy flakes floating in the air. Children and adults will have a great time having fun and snapping pictures.
More fun awaits at Ice Palace which has up-sized with more activities within! This includes a 400sqm,20-metre wide indoor Ice Skating rink, an all-new 25-metre long Ice Slide and a 96sqm Snow Playground (double the size of last year's).

The children LOVE skating while I tried my very best to 'walk' round the rink. It was much more slippery than the ones we tried before but I 'survived' (thanks to the read seals).

The little ones will enjoy their time at the Snow Playground. Snow boots are available for rental with sizes from 26 to 36. This is only for children between 2-12 years of age.

This is the first time Hi-5 Funtastic House is in Singapore. Located in The Meadow, it has three zones where children get to style up like the popular Hi-5 stars, groove with Hi-5 song and dance and go wild at the Hi-5 Castle obstacle course. Kids get a temporary tattoo and bring home a polaroid and a balloon as a memento.
Tickets : $24 per 45-minute session - includes 1 child (age 4 - 12) + 1 adult (at viewing area only)
The festive ground is more vibrant with the addition of carnival rides & game stalls. From bumper cars, ferris wheel, train rides to a variety of game stalls to keep the young and old entertained throughout. This year, there are 11 traditional carnival game stalls, up from 7 last year.
Games start from $4 which include Lobster Pot, Basketball, Can Toss, Hi Striker, Fishy Fishy and more! Assorted soft toys await to be won! We were lucky to win a Darth Vader, thanks to Hubby!
Visitors can also shop for Christmas gifts at the Festive Market. There are various dining options and one of them is a two-storey Glass House featuring an immersive dining experience by Harry's. Diners can enjoy a festive meal while taking in the beautiful sights of the Spalliera Castel del Monte, Supertrees and the Festive Market.

Apart from the fun and dine, get into the Christmas spirit with a host of performances under the magical 8m wide Cassa Armonica gazebo. Look out for choral performances and roving parades.
