STAR WARS: The Force Awakens at VivoCity

[Media Invite]

STAR WARS fever continues and this time it has landed at VivoCity! The stormtroopers marching down the escalator and towards the Central Court have attracted many shoppers to stop and take out their phone for videos/pictures opportunities. The grand entrance fascinated many onlookers from afar who made their way down to the atrium.

From now till 20 Dec 2015, get ready to experience the inter-galactic world! Step right into the 370 square metre exhibition and discover more about the highly anticipated movie release of STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKES on 17 Dec. Meet the ten life size Stormtroopers standing guard at the entrance and enter the STAR WARS exhibit filled with interactive activities, STAR WARS merchandise and the largest wall mural made of LEGO bricks.

The completed STAR WARS wall mural earned a place of honour in the Singapore book of Records!

STAR WARS fans squeaked with the wonderful line up of characters at the atrium.

Gladys was not intimidated by the stormtroopers at the back. It would be cool to pose with a light saber in hand. :)

The children were excited to take photos with the characters from STAR WARS. I could only name a couple - Imperial tie pilot, Chief Jawa and Red pilots. It is a pity we did not spot C-3PO and R2-D2.

Apart from photo opportunities, do not miss the merchandise from Toys 'R' Us, Simply Toys, Action City and Royal Selangor which is available for purchase around the event. STAR WARS figurine from POP! is my personal favourite.

Rise to the challenge and stand guard at the Electronic Arts STAR WARS Battlefront. Come put your skills to the test and earn your title as a Jedi

If you are a big fan of STAR WARS, do not miss the exhibit. You will be fascinated by the range of products and may bring home some STAR WARS merchandise and collectibles.

In addition, VivoCity has lined up a series of activities to rev up the Christmas mood.

It was a pity we didn't know about this! Our boy would have loved to see that. Do you know if the storm troopers contingent is always there or was it for the media invite only?

I'm not a Star Wars fan too but this is really cool! We managed to get the Darth Vadar and a Trooper from Changi Airport and my son quite like it. Maybe we can start watching the old Star Wars shows to see what it is all about!

I'm sure we would have met then! I was late that evening so could not catch up with the other bloggers.

I watched Star Wars since young and Han Solo is my favourite. :) It is a footprint of my childhood.

I believe it was for the media invite only. Nevertheless, you can take pictures with the ten life size storm troopers and there are many photo spots you can take pictures.
