~ Media Preview - Mystica Wildlife comes to life at Night Safari 2013 ~

It was a Mystical Night out at Singapore's Night Safari. Thanks to Wildlife Reserves Singapore, our family were invited to step into the Wildlife Wonderland for a night of whimsical cheer and fun.

Its great to arrive early as we had an up-close animal encounter with the snake and binturong.

Stepping into the nocturnal zoo is where the fun begins! Night Safari's clumsy resident Forest Fairy accidentally unleashes powerful magic, transforming the deep, dark rainforest into a Mystica Wildlife Wonderland! Once again, Night Safari is set to have a different light this holiday to welcome its guests.

Check out the Neon Face Painting booth and you can have your face painted with quirky prints, funky patterns and animal-themed designs. There is a range of stencils to select or you can let the artist's creativity flow on your face/hand!

Denver & Gladys love the owl prints while I decided to go for the floral glowing 'tattoo' on my arm. :)

Next, we stepped into the Glow-in-the-Park Photo Booth specially setup for visitors to capture glowing memories in this mystical dark room.

We had fun posing, grabbing props and showing off the neon paints on our hands.

Mingle in the Jungle and meet the magical, charming, illuminated animal friends. Apart from the friendly Forest Fairy, you may get to meet the peahen, flamingo, toad and more!

Greetings from the Forest Fairy.

Mr Lee Meng Tat, CEO of Wildlife Reserves Singapore welcome the guests and officiate the launch of Mystica Wildlife Wonderland 2013 @ Night Safari!

It was a beautiful night especially hanging out with friends and lots of kids having fun together.

Its time to roam the forest! Visitors can choose the go for the Fishing Cat Trail or Wallaby Trail and Night Safari's friendly trail guide will be there to clear your doubts and answer your questions. :) We decided to go for the Fishing Trail to visit the fishing cats.

Personally, I think the lighting really brighten up the Night Safari. I do hope to see more such events and interesting stuff around the zoo to attract families and children to join in the fun!

Have been wondering how Mystica would turn out. I think they have it every year. Looks interesting and I like the fact that they have events like Dress Your Best contests going on.
