I rarely have wanton mee in an air-conditioned space. Hence, the bright and clean dining area makes it extremely comfortable and welcoming for us.
Let's take a look at the menu.
Fortune Pot has creatively crafted their wanton noodles to be really appetizing and not just the noodle with the usual wanton and char siew.
For a start, there are 4 different flavours of noodles to pick from - Original traditional taste, Hokkien, Tomato or Tomyam.
Next, choose your preferred soup ingredient - shrimp and meat wanton, meat wanton, handmade meatball or dumpling soup.
Finally, select your favourite add-ons. You can add choose from single/double charsiew, fried onion, lava egg, chicken feet etc.
If you do not know what to pick, just go for the combo set which includes fried onion, fried small wanton, lava egg and pickled vegetables for an additional price of RM7.
Apart from wanton noodles, Fortune Pot also offer wanton soup, handmade meatball soup and dumpling soup for more to share.
Lots of selection of beverages on their drinks menu - from traditional coffee and teh to fruit tea.
I always enjoy having my cup of traditional Teh to compliment my meal.
The egg noodles at Fortune Pot is thin, chewy and does not have any lingering bitterness taste that most noodles have. Each of us picked a different flavour and we enjoyed our wanton noodle sets.
Since it was our first visit, we conveniently ordered the combo set add-on which cost about RM15.90 - RM16.90 (less than SGD6). If you love onions, then you might enjoy the crispy fried onion which is pretty delicious to crunch on. For this standard wanton noodle set, it is very filling even for an adult.
