Taiwan 8D7N Free & Easy Tour - Keelung Miaokou Night Market (基隆庙口夜市) & Movie

We always love to go to night markets to settle our dinner/supper. Not only is it economical, we also get to enjoy the local delicacies all at one spot. Special thanks to our driver who took us around the whole day till night making our final stop at Keelung Miaokou Night Market (基隆庙口夜市).

You won't miss out the rows of yellow lanterns at the entrance. (Too bad it wasn't lighted when we visit).

Dianji Temple (基隆奠濟宮) is in the heart of the night market. You can walk in to explore the intricate carvings and architecture.

We actually had been eating along the way the entire day and honestly speaking, by the time we arrived at Keelung, our stomach are still pretty loaded. Nevertheless, drinks are always welcome!

芋头牛奶 for NT60 (Taro Milk)

紫米牛奶 (Purple Milk)

Lots of food stalls along the road sides and we are once again torn between choices.

Woo.. suckling pig on the menu!

Teppan pork meat is what we like and we ordered 1 packet for all to share

We hopped into a shop and had 鸡佛脚筋 ... an exotic taste and texture.

The children went for the easier option. Pork meat soup. :)

More food to try!

After eating and drinking to our hearts full, we took a taxi back to our hotel. The night is still young.. after washing up, we took the train down to Ximending for movie! Surprisingly, we managed to catch the 830pm show (Fantastic Beast) that night.

A tiring day but eventful one.
