Fairy Tale Wonderland @ Tulipmania 2015

We were slightly late to visit Tulipmania 2015 but better late than never. This year, the Flower Dome transformed itself into an enchanting fairy tale wonderland where we were mesmerized by an array of tulips on the flower beds.

Visitors were captivated by the colourful tulips as they enter the magical world. 

Adults and children have no problem identifying and relating the displays to the different classic fairy tales.

~ Thumbelina ~

~ Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ~ (Mirror, Mirror on the wall, which tulip is the prettiest of them all?)

~ The Ugly Duckling ~ (Which have transformed into a beautiful swan sitting comfortably within the midst of the flower beds)

~ The Ice Queen ~

With over 40 varieties in a myriad of hues and forms, the tulips remain as the main attraction. 

Here are some of my favourite.

It was a pity many tulip buds did not blossom during our visit. Nevertheless, the fragrant scent from the flowers lifted our spirits and we had an enjoyable morning walk in the Flower Dome.

Tulipmania 2015 is currently on-going till 10th May 2015. There is an exciting line up of activities happening this weekend to celebrate Mother's Day. Do not miss the opportunities to pay tribute to your love ones.

Come for a unique Threaded Pebbles display and be amazed at the transformation of common pebbles into beautiful artpieces. You can look forward to seeing the artist, Dr. Rebecca Chan, at work as she weaves colours and textures on pebbles.
