~ Hubby's Birthday Lunch at Kiseki Japanese Buffet Restaurant ~

Last month we celebrated Hubby's birthday. Hubby and I took the day off from work and go "paktor" without our kiddos. Sometimes it is really good for couples to have their own dedicated time and space together and enjoy some peace and freedom. :)

Hubby and I enjoy good food and every year we will dine together to celebrate. Hubby heard of a nice Japanese buffet restaurant which has mega buffet spread. It is very popular and always crowded during lunch hours. Located within Orchard Central, Kiseki Japanese Buffet Restaurant indeed attracts a lot of people even before the restaurant opens for business! Reservations were full and diners started queuing from 11am.

The lunch buffet pricing looks pretty reasonable.

Kiseki has a seating capacity of 280 and the restaurant looks spacious. If you are lucky, you may get a window seat overlooking Orchard road while dining.

There is a good spread and variety at Kiseki. From sushi, sashimi, cold seafood, teppanyaki to western grill, Italian pizzas, yummy-licious desserts with many beverages to select, we were spoiled with choices!

Sashimi and Cold Seafood section - My FAVOURITE! Got unlimited servings of Salmon Sashimi.

Tempura , Italian pizzas and pasta.

Chawanmushi, Black Curry chicken, Seafood hot pot and many more!

Whenever I go for Japanese buffet, I will go straight to the sashimi bar and grab lots of Salmon Sashimi! I adore the way the salmon sashimi are sliced. Fresh, thick pieces of sashimi melts smoothly into my mouth. Oishii!! The sushi selection is also very comprehensive and I took a long time savoring the cold seafood section only.

It was our first time trying out the Black Curry. Initially, it felt really weird to stuff some black coloured stuff into our mouth. After tasting, it wasn't too bad after-all.

More grill meat, fish and seafood.

Assorted seafood hot pot. :)

We nearly missed the dessert section as it was located at the other side of the restaurant. The desserts selection will not disappoint you as not only are there assorted cakes and ice-creams, you will also find fruit chocolate fondue and waffles!

Even though our tummies were already 101% full, we simply have to find extra space to try out the desserts. I love the fluffy waffle which is perfect with the vanilla ice-cream. There are many assorted cakes and I have to make sure I try everyone of them before we call it for a day.

For $19.80++, the price is really reasonable for the amount of buffet spread. No wonder we can see long queue outside Kiseki during dining hours. It is recommended to call and make your reservations if you do not want to be disappointed.
