DIY Baking & Brunch Cafe @ RedDrip Baking Cafe [Kuala Lumpur] - CLOSED

Back in 2016, we brought our children to Love Fun Baking House (in Johor Bahru) to experience our first family DIY baking. There we met Angie (founder of the baking house) and her lovely staff. They were really friendly and from then on, from acquaintance, to frequent customer, we became friends. Every time when we travel to JB, we will pop by the baking house for baking sessions or simply to chat.

With the success of Love Fun Baking House, Angie has ventured her business into Kuala Lumpur and since then we have not met her for a long time! During our trip to KL last December, one of our main objective is to visit her and her new shop - RedDrip Baking Cafe

Located in Uptown Damansara in KL, this is not only a cafe offering delicious breakfast and brunch, but one that also allows you to make your own dessert/cakes! Check out the menu here - https://www.facebook.com/pg/RedDripUptownDamansara/menu/

Angie is a great chef and baker. If you are a great fan of Taiwanese delicacies, there are also many on the menu to pick from.

The interior of the cafe is bright, clean and feels homely and welcoming. The space is split into two sections - for baking and dining. That means you can choose to enjoy both activities on the same visit!

After traveling 6 hours on a night coach, we arrived super early on a Sunday morning and were warmly welcomed by our dear friend and her homemade Taiwanese style hearty breakfast!

Smoked Chicken Bacon Egg Pancake (熏鸡培根蛋饼)

Spring Onion Pancake (葱抓饼)

You can easily find Taiwanese street snack on the menu and our favourite is definitely the Signature Sweet Potato Ball (招牌地瓜球)! This is our boy's favourite snack and it taste just as good as the ones we had in Taiwan!

Radish Cake

Their Taiwanese Signature Burgers are awesome too and one will definitely be good and filling to start your day!

Toast lovers can also find assorted flavours at RedDrip.

If you love Braised Pork Rice (卤肉饭) like me, you have to wait till lunch hours. We came back later in the afternoon just to order a bowl to try and it was a bowl filled with goodness.

A glimpse into the menu and there are many options to pick from - omelet rolls, sandwiches, burgers, rice set, noodles, assorted drinks and more.

Families who are looking out to have fun-filled activities and bonding session with their children can drop by RedDrip for DIY baking session and complete the day with having family meals together.

Thank you Angie for the hospitality and hope that we will have more time to chat and bake at the cafe next time!
