~ The Southern Ridges Trail - Part 2 ~

Yes! We have reached the Henderson Waves after about 90 minutes of walking from our intial starting point - Hort Park. The view from the bridge is pretty nice and it has been a cool and wet morning walk so far (despite the rain which is getting heavier)!

Henderson Waves (36m above Henderson Road) is the highest pedestrain bridge in Singapore which connects Mount Faber Park and Telok Blangah Hill Park. The 274 metre steel bridge is wavy in shape and it is lit with LED at night from 7pm to 2am daily.

Along the way, we saw many people (young and old, couples and families) coming here for a jog or simply take some photos while having their walk.

Thanks to Andy for sharing this photo with us, I really like this picture where Hubby is holding hands with the little ones. :)

Another group photo for completing the Henderson Waves! :) It has been a Long Walk for the children and we made it!

Everyone deserves another break and we took shelter within one of the pavilion. There are many ants on the ground, but the children did not panic and happily enjoying their Pocky sticks and Honey Stars. I guess nothing beats the Yummy Snacks! :)

Yeah! We MADE IT!
